SEBASTIÁN PEREYRA (Buenos Aires)
Took his first tango-steps at the age of 12 in his hometown San Salvador de Jujuy in northern Argentina. Until the age of 17 he learned the first secrets of Tango in different schools and academies in the province of Jujuy. During the same period he complemented his artistic career with classes of ballet and contemporary dance while studying classical piano in the music-academy for eight years. Soon Sebastian started giving classes and workshops in state Tango-Schools and Academies and during 3 years he managed his own Dance School in San Salvador de Jujuy and produced and directed a dozen dance shows in the Mitre Theatre in the same city. As a last artistic and cultural project before leaving the province he developed tango- and physical-Expression workshops for schools of the province and for groups of young people with disabilities.
At the age of 19 Sebastian began studying Contemporary dance in the National University of Tucuman for 2 years, where he met one of his most important teachers of Tango Salon, Marcelo Altamiranda, who would become one of his most important sources of his love and respect for the traditional tango. Shortly after Sebastian decided to travel to the birthplace of Tango, Buenos Aires. In Buenos Aires Sebastian dedicated his first years to the milongas, getting to know the scene, the secrets, tips and codes of the milonga. In addition to the social dancing he studied tango with teachers such as Osvaldo and Coca and Jorge Garcia [the brother of Dany el Flaco].
Together with his partner Delia Hou he soon started performing in many of the most popular milongas of Buenos Aires such as: El beso, Porteño y Bailarin, Salon Canning, La Baldoza, Sunderland. In 2012 he began working in several Tango shows; in the Sheraton Hotel, Puerto Madero, Moon Festival in Chinatown, Bar Sur Tango, Anibal Troilo 's house, Todo Mundo. He is currently to be found as the first dancer in the Popular Cafe Tortoni. To keep developing his understanding of the dance he started taking classes with Roberto Herrera, Diego Amorin and Cecilia Capello, Diego Ortega and Aldana Sylveyra.
In 2012 Sebastian and Delia organized the first National Festival of Tango Salon in the province of Cordoba and a series of seminars spread around Argentina. Sebastian and Delia traveled together through Chile and USA teaching Tango Salon. And later they closed their time as a dance-couple with a tour to Asia where they participated in the X-Posed festival next to dancers as Milena Plebs and other guest artists. During this tour they also gave several seminars in the Phillipines, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and Taiwan. In the beginning of 2013 Sebastian dictated a cycle of classes in school Tango Salon “la Esquina” to Fernando Galera and Vilma Vega. In May 2013 he opened a small space dedicate of Tango in which he continues to give regular classes with Belen Fritzler. From beginning june 2014 Sebastián started an intensive tour throughout Europe and Asia incl. a short stopover to Australia.

RICARDO MACEIRAS - El Pibe Sarandì (Buenos Aires)
1942 Ricardo is born in Avellaneda, near the Capital Buenos Aires, and has been having an affair with Tango for the past 60 years, after beginning to dance at the age of 13. He began his professional career in 1964 when he was invited by legends like Gloria & Eduardo to appear in the “Yo te canto Buenos Aires” program on Argentinian TV alongside Carlos Gavito until 1968. He also took part in three movies entitled “Canción desesperada”, ”El ultimo bandoneon” and as principal tango dancer in “Rosas, rojas rojas”. When Tango emerged, there were no teachers or dance schools; therefore, Ricardo developed his pure, own style without being a copy of others. For 14 years now, he has been touring the world teaching in Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Holanda and the USA in Atlanta, Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York City. Ricardo also worked for the FM tango radio station.
Ricardo's rhythmical style shows charateristics of canyengue and orillero, styles that were danced in the 30ies, before the golden aera of salons in the 40ies. Ricardo's music interpretation uses double and triple times, making him famous for his milonga con traspie. His embrace hold is typical for the area of Avellaneda.
Ricardo and Yvonne know each other since 20 years and have been working together several times throughout the years. In the year 1996 a long friendship began when Yvonne in Buenos Aires made an interview with Ricardo. Videos and teaching fragments: exhibition with Elina Roldan, teaching with Yvonne Meissner 2010 in Haarlem. Overview our collaboration activities in Facebook event TangoDeSalon.eu .

Marcelo Cabral, born in Buenos Aires, discovered his passion for tango 15 years ago while growing up with the teachings of masters like Miguel and Osvaldo Zotto, Carlos Gavito, Julio Balmaceda, Sebastian Arce, Chicho Frumboli as well as others.
He debuted as a professional dancer in 1997 at the Teatro San Martin in Buenos Aires with the Company of the Universidad de Buenos Aires. He won the second place in the Championship of Tango 1998 of the Municipality of Buenos Aires. First choreography was attracting him until teaching won it... Marcelo taught as a regular teacher in Sao Paolo (Brazil) until in 2001 he was called to teach in Miami (USA) where he taught as a regular teacher for a year. He recorded instructional videos for Europe and Japan. Parallel he danced as soloist couple for the presentation of Julio Iglesias' CD-production "Tango" at the Hippodrome of Miami at a public of 30.000 enthousiasts. Around 2003 he was called as a teacher for New York's famous tangoschool Dancesport and taught at the NYC 2005 Tango Festival, partnering Annatina Luck. Marcelo worked with Carlos Gavito and as a consequence began using technical element as a means to express the feeling that beats within a hug. A turnaround for Marcelo. He has simplified the his teaching elements and focused more on the mental motorics within the individual. The aim was to accelerate the learning process and enhance the fluidity and naturality. Marcelo starts teaching in Europe in 2006, cities amongst which Venice, Milano, Torino, Bologna, Padova, Palermo, Pesaro, Senigallia, Munich, Schwerin.
